Welcome to Coach Mauney's page!

     I am originally from this area. I was born in New Albany, MS and raised in Blue Mountain and Ashland, MS. I graduated from Walnut High School in 2006 and began my college career at Northwest Community College Desoto Campus. I received my Bachelor's Degree from The University of Mississippi in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. I then furthered my education through Arkansas State University, receiving a Master's Degree in Educational Theory and Practice.

     I have 10 years experience in Intervention/RTI process and Special Education. I enjoy working with students, learning their minds, and doing what I can to help shape, mold, and develop them for the future.

     I am the proud husband of Kayla Mauney, from Ripley. We have 2 beautiful twin daughters, Elise and Eliana. They will be 2 years old this April! Time flies when you're having fun!! And, it's been fun...plus all the extras that come with it!!!

     I am also a Baptist preacher. I pastor Brint's Chapel Baptist Church in Middleton, TN. I have been there for 1 year and have a great group of people there that God has given me the opportunity to lead and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

     I will strive to be the best influence I can for your child, and will try to be the best teacher I can for them. I want to be a support for them when they need me. But, we all need each other, and all need reminded that we are in this thing called Life, together. I am here for you and for your child.
