The Ripley chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) rewarded our students who scored top in the state on last year's U.S. History state test. Our now seniors, enjoyed pizza and cake.

BMS juniors and seniors attended the College and Career Fair at Ripley Event Center today. They met with potential employers and colleges in an effort to plan for their futures. Ms. Green, Mr. Grisham, and Mrs. Bass were the chaperons for the trip to the Ripley Event Center. Kindergarteners Ava Posey (1st place) and Carlos Rodriguez (2nd place) won money for the American Legion Post 81 Veterans Day Coloring Contest. Congratulations! Mrs. Mitchell's students are working hard each day analyzing text as they prepare for upcoming state assessments. The students and teacher tried on firefighter outfits and hats, learned how to use a fire extinguisher, and practiced spraying the fire hoses. Thank you to Career Coach Deana Reno for helping to coordinate this presentation.
