Dear Ripley Elementary Community, 

It is an honor for me to have the opportunity to be the new Ripley Elementary principal for the 2022-23 school year. Although new to the South Tippah School District, I am bringing over 30 years of education experience, including 18 years as a school or district level administrator. My career started in the classroom as a high school math teacher.  Since 2004, I have been a principal at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels, and I have worked with multiple schools under several different administrative capacities.

We, the faculty, staff, and administration at RES, will continue to build on the solid foundation created by such a strong group of current and past educators.  Celebrating our successes, continually working with a clear vision, and keeping our core values in the forefront of all decisions will help us grow our students to be ready for the next step in their educational journey. 

As a school builder, I am committed to creating an environment where students and staff are supported which helps all to reach their full potential. Working with you, the community, I know as a team, we will work together to accomplish new goals and overcome any challenges.
