Meet the Librarian!

Hi, my name is Angela Mauney. I live in Lamar, MS with my sweet, miniature schnauzer, Alex. I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2010. I taught 3rd grade for five years at Horn Lake Intermediate School in DeSoto County. I taught 3rd grade math and science for five years at Chalybeate. While at Chalybeate, I became the part-time librarian for two years. I've been the librarian at RES for three years now. I am so excited to meet you! Please email me if you need assistance.

Let's Make Reading a Reward!

      Vending Machine

Thank you for your donations to our coin drive. We raised a little over $2,000. This money will be used to buy more books for our book vending machine. We cannot wait for our machine to arrive! Students can earn a token by exhibiting positive behavior and meeting academic goals. They will use their token to buy their very own book! More information about this project is coming soon!
